Pick the side, then where the centre of the opening is: how far along the Length, Width and Height, each measured from where that size starts (Size card). A side only uses the two sizes it has: Top and Bottom use Length and Width, Front and Back use Length and Height, the Left and Right sides use Width and Height. Height (in) under Shape is the rectangle's height.Read as: offset before or past the degree, then along the length from the arrow’s start. Width runs around the cover, height along it. Degrees count from the flap edge, as on the guides. Tick Collar to label the cutout C1, C2… and add its collar piece: a strip as long as the cutout’s circumference, folded in half along the green middle line (width in Settings). On an end cap, Degree is the direction from the cap’s centre (90° = into the flap half) and Along is inches from the centre; the cutout is split across both halves. On a taper or flare, Degree and Along work as on the cover: Along counts from the start of the whole length (the taper or flare is part of it). On an elbow, pick where you measured Along (heel, side or throat), from the start, tangent included; the cutout sits on the ring around the elbow at that spot, and is split across gores when it crosses a gore line.

Each keeps its own allowances, part types and part settings.
Cover width = circumference + allowance. The smaller allowance is used when the circumference is under the cutoff. Only the 1 in row is confirmed; the others are placeholders until you set them.
